"Why not experiment with different coloured letters using either coloured chalk or other colours in the Plasti-kote Super range."
Get down to your local garden centre to buy your Terracotta pots or have a root through your shed. If you are using some old pots give them a good clean and allow to dry prior to spraying.
Start by masking off the rims of the pot as this area will be left unsprayed. Lay down newspaper to protect the surrounding area.
Take the Chalkboard Black and spray to cover the unmasked area, leave for 15 minutes then apply a second coat.
Leave to dry thoroughly for at least 30 minutes. Whilst waiting take the pencil and practice writing the names of your herbs on a scrap piece of paper.
Once the Chalkboard paint is dry, write the names of the herbs on each pot using the pencil, if you make a mistake simply rub it off using a damp cloth. When you are happy with the pencilled text simply write over the top with either the chalk or, for permanent lettering, maketemplates for the herb names and use Matt Super White.
If you used the Matt Super you will need to leave for approximately 45 minutes. You can now remove the masking tape and get potting!
Note: Always follow usage instructions on the reverse of Plasti-kote Spray Paint cans.
