Butler-tray table
We found this butler tray table in a junk shop for next to nothing! With a quick coat or two of spray paint it's easy to achieve a good-as-new look. If you can find a pair, even better - they look great either side of a bed, accessorised with reading lamps.
If the colour you're using is lighter than the original item, apply a coat of Super White Primer to ensure that the finish is even.
Make sure your work area is properly ventilated, and lay out newspaper to work on.
Rub the table lightly with coarse sandpaper to remove any flaking paint or varnish.
If the new colour is lighter than the table's original colour, apply a single coat of Super White Primer.
Apply several coats of the Super colour of your choice. We've used Super Matt Black.
Note: Always follow usage instructions on the reverse of Plasti-kote spray paint cans.
