Glass frosted vase
Your home needn't be the only place to enjoy cut flowers - try taking an arrangement outside to add a little something to your barbecue table settings. Glass vases are easy to come across and this frosted effect is simple to achieve. We've used a heart shape, but why not experiment with different templates too?

Select your glass vase - ours was from Ikea. Or try your local car boot sale, second hand shop or online auction.
Clean the surface with a damp cloth and allow it to dry before proceeding.
Place newspaper underneath and around the lamp to protect the work surface.
Cut out a heart shaped template from the thin card. Spray the reverse with Repositionable Adhesive and affix to the vase, making sure all the edges of the template are flat and stuck to the surface of the vase.
Spray the vase lightly with Glass Frosting and allow to dry.
Note: Always follow usage instructions on the reverse of Plasti-kote spray paint cans.
