Plasti-kote strengthens sales force

Plasti-kote, the market leader in the spray paint sector has made significant changes to its sales force to give extra support to its retailers.

Mike Sharp has been appointed as its Distributor Sales Manager and Gordon McLeod as Sales Representative for Scotland and the North East.

The new members of Plasti-kote's sales force have had experience with multi-national organisations and bring with them an understanding of fulfilling the needs of a diverse range of retailers and consumers. Mike Sharp has over 25 years sales management experience in the DIY sector and is well-known throughout the industry. Gordon McLeod has worked for Nike and other multi-national organisations and is looking forward to bringing his skills to the DIY sector.

Plasti-kote is continuing to focus its investment on retailers, who are viewed as brand partners not just distribution channels, and will be rolling out a number of new initiatives in the coming months. "We believe that investing in effective POS, in-store merchandising and education will help retailers develop consumer sales, strengthening image, revenue and margins. A highly skilled and focused sales force is key to ensuring our initiatives are successful," says Mike Watson, Managing Director of Plasti-kote.
