Updating your Ornaments
This decorating tip costs next to nothing, and can really help bring a colour scheme together. Glance around your loft. Do you have ornaments packed away which you can't display? Perhaps they're in garish colours, or perhaps they have ugly transfer prints. Look beyond the surface - are they a stylish shape? This quick fix will give them a new lease of life, transforming them into something you can display with pride.

Soapy water
Newspaper

Wash your ornaments in hot, soapy water to remove any traces of grease or dirt.
Lay newspaper in a well-ventilated work area.

When the ornaments are completely dry, spray evenly in your choice of finish and colour. We have used Gloss Super Bright Red for the vase, . Try to tone your colour choice with your décor.
