Roll-top Bath

Bathrooms can be rather clinical places, and stark white bathroom furniture only adds to that effect. This decorative tip will show you how to use colour on the outside of your roll-top bath to bring your room's scheme together simply and conveniently

 

You'll need

Newspaper
Masking tape
Dustsheet

Satin Super White

Satin Super Rustic Blue

Step by step guide
Step Number1

Clean the outside of the bath thoroughly to remove any trace of oils and bathing products, and lay down a dustsheet.


 
Step Number2

Spray the feet of the bath with Satin Super White.

 
Step Number3

When dry, use newspaper and masking tape to shield the legs and the roll top of the bath. Mask the inside of the bath with newspaper or a dust sheet to avoid getting any paint on the enamel.

 
Step Number4

Use several thin layers of Satin Super Rustic Blue to build up colour on the outer wall of the bath.
