Elegant Border Tiles
Tile paint is an inexpensive and easy way to update the look of a room. Using a spray tile paint to make a simple border in one area of a room can be a very effective way to draw attention to a design feature. This is also a simple way to update the colour of your existing tiles.

Clean the tiles thoroughly to remove any traces of dirt and bathroom products, and allow to dry completely. Mask off the surrounding area with masking tape and newspaper.
If your bathroom tiles are not already white spray the whole area of tiling with a coat of Tile Paint in White. You will need to leave this to dry for around 24 hours.

Apply rows of masking tape to the top row of tiles to form a striped border, as in the picture. Rub the tape with a soft cloth to make sure that the edges are stuck down firmly - this will prevent any paint from getting under the tape.
Protect all the other areas of tile with masking tape and newspaper.

Spray an even coat of Tile Paint in Blue over the masked area. Allow to dry for around 2 hours then remove the masking tape whilst the paint is still tacky to touch (this stops the paint from being pulled up as you remove the tape).
Note: Always follow usage instructions on the reverse of Plasti-kote spray paint cans.
