Wicker armchair

Old wicker chair with separable seat pads
Vacuum cleaner
Soapy water
Newspaper

Step by step guide
Step Number1

Make sure your work area is properly ventilated, and lay out newspaper to work on.

 
Step Number2

Remove the chair's loose seat pads and put aside. Wipe down the wicker with a damp cloth, and vacuum if dusty.

 
Step Number3

If the new colour is lighter than the chair's original colour, apply a single coat of Super White Primer.

 
Step Number4

When the primer is dry, apply several thin coats of Super Black Plum, following the drying time instructions on the can.

 
Step Number5

Place the covered seat pads back into the frame when the spray paint has dried.
