Crackle Touch
Crackle from Plasti-kote is a two-part system of a base coat and a top coat that uses two 'incompatible' paints to give objects an antique look. The depth and width of crackle can be influenced by building up several layers of the base-coat. The top-coat should be applied while base-coat is still tacky.
For interior and exterior use.
Use only in well ventilated areas. Ensure surface is clean and dry. Shake can well before use and between applications. Before applying spray on an inconspicuous area to ensure compatibility and suitability. Seal all porous surfaces prior to the application of the base coat with a Plasti-kote Super Primer.
Sit back and watch the exciting Crackle effect appear before your eyes!
Suitable for use on almost all surfaces, Crackle is ideal for minor interior decorative projects. To preserve and protect the finish, we recommend that Plasti-kote Super Clear Acrylic No. 1138 is applied once the Crackle finish is dry.
Base Coat: Allow 2-5 minutes between base coat applications.
