Plasti-kote strengthens sales force to support its 'putting retailers first' initiative
With a market share of 78% in the spray paint sector and a continued period of growth in 2005, Plasti-kote is now focussing on sharing its success with the people that really matter - the retailers.
Plasti-kote has devised a comprehensive programme of retailer initiatives that will be rolled out in 2006. To support the implementation of these initiatives the sales force has been strengthened, , bringing in three new sales people with customer service, merchandising and in-store training experience.
"We've introduced a number of new products in the last few years and benefited enormously from streamlining our operations," says Mike Watson, Managing Director of Plasti-kote. " We now want to focus on sharing this success with our retailers, who we consider our brand partners not just our distribution channels. I believe that investing in effective Point of sale, in-store merchandising and incentivisation schemes will strengthen image, revenue and margins. A highly skilled sales force is key to ensuring our initiatives are successful."
The new members of Plasti-kote's sales team have had experience with multi-national organisations and bring with them an understanding of fulfilling the needs of a diverse range of retailers. "Adding value has always been an important part of our strategy" says Peter Alexander, Sales Manager for Plasti-kote. "The additional experience and skills we now have will make this an exciting year for Plasti-kote and our retailers".
